PEKKA SASSIA message from Mary Davis 2.12.2006 – 22.12.2006

The exhibition consists of twelve videos projected onto a single wall and edited so that they form a fairly logical continuum (c.f. hanging paintings).

In the videos, I have sought various kinds of interesting ways to tell stories with moving image and sound without using actors or other elements familiar from movies. The videos make references to history, religion, politics and art.

I use animation, text, still images, music, radio news and any other sound recordings and film footage I have managed to get my hands on.
