BO HAGLUNDAIR 18.4.2026 – 17.5.2026
My Own Private Bubble, 2025acrylic and gouache on paper
268 x 294 cm
Vibration in the air
When words fail and
silence falls,
Morning light and
neon sunsets,
Nocturnal flares of
light against the black sky,
Undulating currents
of air push forward,
Fleeting landscapes
on a cool morning,
We travel towards
the unknown,
All unfulfilled
dreams,
A bridge, an
imaginary symbol of freedom,
Our eyes look up at
the sky,
Do we still have
hope?
Perhaps these
paintings are about transitions,
Travel in time and
space,
About the desire to
leave,
To start from
scratch,
A flyover to
childhood meadows.
How would I describe
painting?
The pleasure that
painting gives or the meditative process?
I fill the paper
with dots of different colours.
Can these even be
called paintings?
Perhaps they are
maps of time lost.
What does a misty
landscape matter, or
A sky glowing with
colours, when the world is on fire?
What does a
trafficless bridge at dawn mean
When the future is
uncertain?
Fortunately, an
expert will soon explain it all to us,
Wrapping our fears
in a neat package
So that we can keep
believing in tomorrow.
